haha. tt was wad we were supposed to say to this UK reporter on day 2 of the race.. so dumb but fun and dearie unknowingly became our spokesperson and gave his feeling on Singpore's F1 race. =)

Day 1's crowd was so-so only. The grandstands were rather empty too. Met up with teoteo and neo but went separate ways as they wanted to find a good spot to take photos with their powerful cameras unlike mine.. digital cam only. =( So me and dearie walked to a few places to recce for good spots to stand for the qualifying race. But sad to say.. din managed to find any. Most of them were straight routes around esplanade and padang area. Straight routes are boring and the cars drive damn fast ard there. So it's rather pointless to stand there, but since it's day 1.. hehhee.. didn't matter. and since it's day 1 again, we were so unprepared that we did not buy any ear plugs. My eardrums were on the verge of bursting i swear! with the times the cars zoomed passed us. ROARS. so freaking loud and each time the cars approached my heart jumped! IT'S JUST SO EXCITING although it's only practice. =)

Day 2's crowd got better probably cuz it's qualifying. Met up with teoteo and neo again at ard 8pm. hahhaa. Was not feeling well in the afternoon so me and dearie opted to give up watching practice session 3. teoteo and neo managed to find a good spot for photo-taking as well as viewing! haha. it's a bend near the singapore flyer. =) but the bad thing was that there was no screen there. So it ended up with us just watching the cars zoom pass but not knowing which cars qualify fastest.

Day 3's crazy!! the atmostphere was so good, the weather was good but super humid, the company was good too. hehehe. needless to say. =) Found another good spot, with a big screen this time round. We stood near the floating bay and it's also a bend! HOORAY! but teoteo and neo still wanted to take awesome pictures so they went back to the flyer area. =( I STOOD FOR 6.5 FREAKING HOURS. my legs really wanna gave way. so pain lah! plus i literally squeezed my way thru to stand right infront, in between two smelly guys. hahahaha. but of cuz, everything was worth it! Leon and Xueli came along but they didn't managed to squeeze their way in.

The drivers presentation was great! with them on the vintage cars. oh man! i wished i have one of those. and yayy! i saw hamilton and massa. =) woosh! *waves!! and very soon after that, the first ever night race began! No doubt that the route was bumpy and minimal overtaking could take place but each time a car overtakes, the crowd cheered! i just love the people. hahahaha. i feel so sad for ferrari but nahhh i'm not a ferrari fan. hehehe. i'm hamilton fan but that doesn't mean i'm a mcLarens fan. i like ferrari cars. hmmm.. so wad am i? i conclude i'm a ferramilton fan! =) anyway.. just thought that it was a pity the crash wasn't at my bend. bleah.. so evil of me but heh.. but the crowd also went oooohhhhhh!! ahhhhhhh!!

and at the end of the long long 61lap, Fernando Alonso of Renault won... with my hamilton at position 3. oh wells! still feel happy. =) and yeah.. i'm officially a F1 fan now!

Next year, i'll be back to watch, next time with a grandstand ticket! =)
