♥ the mid point
okay... i'm into the next half of yr 2008! still no resolutions to be made..
just hope that i'll be happy always. HEEEEE. =)
i'm super duper busy recently, and i'm gonna be ultra super duper busy from today onwards.
music rehearsals, 5 tuitions a week, stupid attachment.. and i'm really really trying my best to squeeze out some time to meet my frens. i'm so sorrry peepz! =(

23rd June:
Happy birthday mummy! =) i hope u stay healthy always! Had a nice and warmly dinner with my family tgt with dearie and we did a little shopping after the meal. woots. happy family. =)

25th June:
Met Eggy and company on wed for dinner ar waraku pasta! yummy! =) i wanna go back there again! There's just so many many many different pastas to choose from. and i simply love the pizzas. *hiak hiak! and.. i'm sorry eggy.. i was too tired to blog for the past few days.. but still Happy 26th Birthday! hahaha. no more youth hostel for u! =P u are a MAN now! weeeeet weeeeets!

Dearie came over to stay on friday night. We planned a nice sentosa trip on sat BUT... =(
the zzz monsters attacked us till noon. grrwaahhh.. there's goes my tan! so in the end we headed to k-box at JE...and i was reminded of silin's ghost story abt the k-box at marina square. boooo.. it made me scared..
anws.. we went home to feed junior dinner before heading out again for dinner at Bedok. =) yeah.. and the reason for all these extra travelling was the access to my dad's car! wahahhahaa.
and i was also crazy enough to agree to a MJ session which was at jeff's hse at tampines! zZzz...
so me, dearie, yy and jeff played 2 whole rounds before ending my tiring nite at almost 3am with a $7 win. booo! to think i wanted make up for my beauty sleep over the weekends, i ended up staying awake later than ever.
Had a freaking early tuition on sunday. 10am.. i wonder if my kid is awake enough understand or pay attention to what i said. But i was really very sleeepy... thank god it was only 1.5 hrs.

♥ 12 years, still going strong!
friendship is really an amazing thing,
12 years ago, when i transferred from wps to peps,
i thought to myself...
i thought to myself...
i dun think i will enjoy my pri sch life cuz i had to adapt to another new environment after transferring sch.
i had to make new friends which i thought was hard cuz many of them knew each other since pre-school.
i was like an alien from outerspace, left stranded on planet earth.
but
but
but...
but...
these group of wonderful people changed my thinking and feelings towards the new sch i was in.
these people whom i called friends for life, walked into my life 12 years ago.
Not all of us were from the same class and yet we were such close friends.
Music brought all of us together,
and i'm thankful i chose the right cca back then.
it was band that allowed me to know these bunch of buddies. =)

I really hope our annual gathering will go on and on even when we all have our own families. i love u all! It is because of you pple that made me believe that there is such thing as friends forever.

♥ seniors camp!
i'm still having the hangover from seniors camp!!!
My first time as a GL and seriously i feel damn stress cuz somehow it seems that there are lots of eyes around me seeing if i'm up to the job for this senior role. But to be truth, i really dunno.
There are much more responsibilities now, and finally a group to myself. A sense of belonging. =) I have a great co. and i feel stressed by him too cuz my fitness level is really not THERE.. i hoped i'm not a burden.
anyways.. let the photos do the talking!
* 1st nite was TP. we were waiting in some dark drain and we decided to take some photos! and phyllis was so right, Jasper sucked at taking photos! hahha. after so many tries, he still failed to fit everyone in the picture. and the flashlight hurt our eyes like shiit!

♥ TGIF
YAYY! it's FRIDAY! =) the 13th... *shivers
some updates:
11th june:
celebrated our 16th month at botak jones. *yummmmilicious. =P we decided to walk there and walk home after dinner. (to make ourselves feel better after eating so much) and we climbed the stairs to my house tt's on the 24th storey. WOOTS. a very healthy lifestyle indeed.
yah, right...
12th june:
sleepy day. slept too late the night before that i ended up dozing off on my desk TWICE! rarr.. Evon always laughed at me for doing so.. boo! but it's really boring and my eyes are freaking tired cuz of the long hours on the lappie. i hope it doesn't affect my eyesight.
Lunch was great! had a farewell celebration for this wonderful colleague called Mr Tham. He started in the company in 1973 and after 35 years of work, he decided it's time for retirement. i thought so too.. *kudos to him for being able to work in one company for so long. simply unbelievable. 3 cheers for his loyalty and his amazing maritime knowledge. I really enjoyed the short session i had with him when i first got here. =) ANyway.. the highlight was the lunch!! The buffet was totally awesome. ( i learned this from uncle dragon and alvin you!) Buffet with salmon, sushi, prawns is like whoaaa!! the prawns were so yummy but i decided not to portray my side of an ugly singaporean kiasu-ness. *hrmpf...my prawns... =(
still, i hope he enjoys his retirement!
Headed to get some stuff for seniors camp after work. Retail therapy is really good, esp after a tired day at work. but
retail therapy without $$ sucks, so i'm not gonna do it again.
TODAY!!
YAYY. it's seniors camp! feels that it is rather early this time round. i wonder if everybody is prepared. *hmmm...
anyway, i hope i survive cuz i haven been exercising for some time.. i dun think i can run. =(
maybe i'll roll instead.. i think it's much faster!
gonna place my butt on a bicycle AGAIN.. seriously, after bike rally, you wun feel like cycling again anymore... arghhh another 43km. GREAT!
may the camp turn out well. it's my last one already. =)
to end off.. i'm happy! cuz i just received another tuition assignment and i'm gonna teach my fav subject! MATHS. *smiles! and best of all.. it's the same rate as my previous one.
actually.. i'm kinda sad tt i no longer teach my korean kid cuz they shifted house. bahh.. and i think he misses me too cuz he was on the verge of tears when i went to his house to collect my pay last week. for once, i felt appreciated and suddenly teaching seems fullfilling afterall..

aha.. been busy with my baby for the past 2 days.
he's just so cute, and his fur's like cotton candy that made me have the urge to pluck and eat.
i became a mum and i think it's good training. hahaha. really testing my patience.
my mum loves him so much that made me chuckled each time i see her talking and cuddling him as though he's her grandson. HAHAHA!
i've been looking forward to going home everyday so i can accompany junior
missed him so much when i'm in office.
if only i can bring him to work.... geesh. i'm mad!
this morning he made my day. =)
he send me off to work. hehehe.
my mum is so funny, she kept telling junior "say bye bye to mummy, mummy's going work"
i can't stop laughing.. hahaha.

♥ Bike Rally 2008
For the first time in my life, i did something so crazy!
cycling 128km is no joke.
ECP to NTU was still fine, but after that it's all up to one's mental. the route from kranji to yishun was freaking torturous! the no. of upslopes was disgusting.
i'm thankful my mental strength was still there, although not very strong but enough to last me the entire event.
kept telling myself i'll board the bus at next checkpoint, but each time i continued my crazy journey. the only point whereby i reallly couldn't continue cuz i felt like sleeping was that freaking long stretch at tampines. the gradual upslope was killing everyone so most of us were walking and pushing our bikes. i felt like i was sleep walking with my bike, in fact i was kinda waiting for the lorry and the bus to catch up so they could load me on the bus. =( my mental strength was at my lowest already... till a point i had to keep talking to myself to stay awake...
BUT BUT BUT, jiade and jasper came to my rescue with redbull! wahahaha. i really din wanna give up cuz i was 5km away from checkpoint 6 which was changi beach carpark! and jiade was like saying ' eh u rest here lah, the lorry is coming!' after hearing that i chiong all the way to the checkpoint. madness!!! but i still did it. =)
was really really happy when i got there cuz after that, i just needa make my way back to ECP (another 10+ km only larh HURR!!) and i did not need to worry abt being swept by the lorry and the bus. haha! i tried not to cross the finishing line with the last safety cyclist but in the end it still happened. so i'm officially the last cyclist to complete the entire route. *cheers! * claps! *weeEe!
many thanks to ivy and zing for pulling me along the way, although u 2 cycled damn far infront.
many thanks to sher, aaron, sinyee and weiquan for joining this event tgt and get our ass hurt like mad. hope u guys enjoyed too although we din really cycled tgt along the way. but it was really a test of our limits.
once in a lifetime, why not?
if we are not going to do it now, i dun think there'll be another time. =)
anyway... the next time if i ever suggest joining bike rally again, PLEASE SCOLD ME!
result of the event: aching butt, cui-ed kneecaps and ankle, sore arms and palms ( i dun feel my arms and legs anymore. they seemed detached from my body.)
Total time taken: close to 11 hours.
but still, i'm a proud finisher of bike rally 08! =)

p/s: well done 17th comm. =) it's already ur last event if u realised.. hahha. enjoy ur remaining days tgt ya? proud of u all!
