♥ Manchester United Part 1
*didn't feel like studying.. so i guess i'll start wif my first post. to all Man Utd fans.. this entry is fer u. =)
left fer Manchester on the 4th Oct wif the other 4 lucky peeps. Aaron, Zhijian, Yeiling, Libing. =)
Couldn't stop smiling and we were all feeling so excited. The thought of being physically there at Old Trafford has always been my dream ever since i started supporting them since 1999, and yes it finally came true on this very date- 5th and 6th oct.- 2 very memorable days that i think i'll never forget fer life.
Went fer the stadium tour a day before the match. We took the tram to Old trafford station, abt 20 mins from Picadilly Garden Station where our hostel was. Couldn't help but to keep checking my camera and making sure that my extra battery was wif me. hee. i'm gonna take tons of pictures! and yep. i did it! nearly 2gbs worth of pictures and videos. madness!! haaa
*to make things easier.. i'm gonna separate this into 3 different parts. =) 1st the stadium tour followed by the museum tour, then the match day itself.
-The Stadium Tour-

*outside the stadium. wif Sir Matt Busby statue standing high on top.

*the internal view of OT. simply Magnificent! Couldn't believe that i was actually walking INSIDE the stadium! =) and look at those seats!!
The guide brought us round the stadium and was telling us abt the seating capacity, where the season fans usually sit, where's the VIP area etc. was actually more busy taking photos den listening.. haha..
After so.. the guide brought us into the rooms the players and Sir Alex Ferguson will be before every match. Walking up and down the stairs inside the stadium never felt so fun before cuz we have no idea where we are heading to.. and every new place is a surprise!
We passed by a few snack stops and betting station (BETFRED) inside the stadium.. but they were all closed as it was not a match day.. but nevertheless i still took photos of it. =)

*anyway the BAR 68 thingy is to commemorate sth but i can't rmb wad.. haha..
After so we were brought thru a whole corridor of photos of individual players during different matches.. it was simply great! but couldn't stop to take cuz it was a narrow corridor and if i were to stop.. i would hog up the entire walkway.. =p (but i do have a video on it thought.. hehehe)
Our next room was the press conference room where Sir Alex Ferguson and the players would be if they were to be interviewed after the match.. When i got in i went: "oh i saw this on tv before!!" hahahhaa..

*familiar scene right? hahaha..
We headed down to the players changing room and the lounge. (the 2 rooms are side by side). The lounge is a place where the players can bring their families in with the permission of the team captain. It's also a place where all the players would be resting at before any match. There's a wine bar in the lounge and according to the guide.. Sir Alex Ferguson only allowed his players to drink a glass of wine after a match. haaa.. anyway.. the lounge is filled with pictures and an international honour board, which states all the caps each man utd player had and which country they were from.

we waited in the lounge fer awhile before heading over to the opposite room which was the....

yep! we went into the changing room.. =)

this is the room where Sir Alex Ferguson will discuss the match strategies with the players, before and during half time of the match. =) yayy!! i'm seating at the spot where michael carrick sits.. heheh.. it just feels so good to be in the same room as them.. picturing them seating at the very same spot where i sit. shiok!
we walked past the jerseys room where there's this man utd personel folding and preparing the jerseys fer the match the next day. and fyi, united players changes to a new jersey after halftime.. i wonder how many jerseys they have... haha.. prolly they can just go print from the megastore right inside the stadium.. there's like tons of jerseys there..

*the jersey room!
finally it was time to head out to the field again. this time thru the player's tunnel. the place where u see them preparing to head out into the field. there's this sound system thingy that will be played thru the tunnel when the players are in there.. damn funny! guess wad was played thru the tunnel..
*hahaha.. so now we know wad we hear on tv is not THAT real afterall... lol
