we took a 4 hr train ride from rome to venice.. horribly uncomfortable! hate moving vehicles.. makes me sick.

Venice was a super nice place! i love it there. it's like the whole place is floating on water.. hee.. even our transport there is by ferry not cars or buses. They do not have bus stops.. haha.. they have boat stops! and i love their masks!! so delicate and very nicely painted. and Mari!! the masquarade masks are damn nice!! haha.. thanx fer telling me abt it before i come. bought 1 pretty one fer myself.. no photos on it though. will try to take a pic of it and post it up here. =)

It's worth making a trip to Venice!! Plz do so before Venice really sinks... (prolly not tt soon.. but still... no one knows.)

We visited St Marco's Sq and the view at the top of the bell tower was just so overwhelming! Look at this!!

After so.. we took the ferry to Lido which was the other end of Venice where it's beach lies.. the beach is 11km long! and we saw topless pple suntanning!! hahaha.. woot =P a nice view too but the beach in Aussie is definately much better.. the sand in Venice is not that fine..

*windy windy!!

we left the beach in the late evening and headed fer dinner.. after 4 days of pasta.. we had enuff!! so we decided to look fer a chinese restaurant to indulge in some 'homecooked' food.. and yayy!! we managed to find one!! Me and Sher was so happy buy Rain looked bored.. haha but i dun care!! i needa cure my homesickness as well as the pasta-sickness cuz there's another 4 more days of pasta to go.. grrrr! Dinner was a little costly though but we swore that breakfast next day would be simple and cheap... hahha...
